A silk duvet cover is the outer fabric you slip around your duvet. It's what comes into direct contact with your skin and hair every night, and it can be washed at home—just like a silk pillowcase. These hours of contact are what provide the skin and hair benefits of mulberry silk.
A silk duvet, on the other hand, contains a silk fiber filling. This filling provides thermal insulation but never touches your skin, and its care requires professional dry cleaning. If you're looking for the properties of silk on your skin, you need the duvet cover, not the duvet itself.

The size
The cover must exactly match the dimensions of your duvet. For a double bed (140×200 cm), aim for a 220×240 cover; for a queen (160×200), 240×260.
